Culture Days will take place across Canada on September 29, 30 & October 1, 2017.
SaskCulture Culture Days Funding Assistance Program
The SaskCulture Culture Days Funding Assistance (CDFA) program is up and running and the application deadline is April 17, 2017.
As in the past, there are two funding streams for CDFA: Culture Days Hubs and Culture Days Events. Culture Days Hub (presented by a minimum of three organizations) are eligible for a maximum of $4,000 and Culture Days Events (presented by one organization) are eligible for a maximum of $1,000.
In 2017 only, SaskCulture encourages applicant organizations to incorporate Canada 150 themes into their projects. SaskCulture also encourages organizations to incorporate with First Nations and Métis educational activities that have a focus on implementing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action or other reconciliation efforts. The following dates are the proposed dates for Culture Days activity registration:
- Activity registration will begin April 24 or 25, 2017 on www.culturedays.ca
- Early registration period concludes at the end of May 2017
- Final registration cut-off for Culture Days promotional items is August 25, 2017
- Final registration cut-off for ALL Culture Days activities will be September 18, 2017
