Press Release regarding cancellation of 2022 Saskatchewan Winter Games 

ATTENTION ATHLETES, COACHES & MANAGERS

PLEASE REGISTER BELOW FOR YOUR RESPECTIVE SPORT -

READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE PROCEEDING!

Please have the following ready before you go the GemsPro site 

  1. Head Shot picture – no action shots, no hats, no sunglasses. Just a picture of your face from the shoulders up.
  2. Proof of full vaccination – this can be downloaded in PDF format from your Saskatchewan EHealth account, saved to your computer, and then uploaded to the GemsPro site when registering.
  3. Hospitalization number.
  4. Family Physician name and contact information.
  5. Biography – a rundown of your sports biography. This is for the media.
  6. Next of kin – name and contact information, including mailing address, cell phone, and email address.

The 2018 Sask. Winter Games Legacy Fund was established with the surplus from the very successful Saskatchewan Winter Games held in the Battlefords in 2018. Applications are now being accepted for this cycle of the grant.

Gymnastics will now be running a Women’s Artistic (WAG) competition only at the 2022 Sask Winter Games. Unfortunately, Men’s Artistic, Rhythmic Gymnastics and Trampoline Gymnastics will no longer be part of the 2022 Games.

 The major changes with a WAG only competition will be:

5 athletes selected per district (all female)

2 coaches selected per district

Athletes will now compete all four women’s gymnastics events instead of three like our previous technical package
