SSFA RWD 55+ Walkability Challenge
The SSFA RWD 55+ Walkability challenge is available to Seniors organizations and community groups to host a walking program.
Between January 1, 2022 and March 1st, 2022 each registered participant must walk 40 times, for a minimum 20 minutes each time.

Mobile Playground Program

2021 Mobile Playground Update

Summer of 2021 saw another successful run of the Mobile Playground! 

Events that were held using the MPP Grants that were available:

June 30th & July 7th – Basketball camp – 20 kids attended

July 10th & 11th – Battlefords’ Disc Golf Camp – 60 kids attended

July 25th – Soccer Camp – 10 kids attended

Aug 17th, 18th & 19th – Fitness/Basketball camp – 20 kids attended

All went very well! The kids got to take home some equipment and had lots of snacks available!

Indigenous Community Sport Development Grant

The purpose of the Indigenous Community Sport Development Grant Program (ICSDG) is to provide greater sport participation and development opportunities for Indigenous youth in Saskatchewan. The program will assist and support the implementation of organized community sport programs to increase sport opportunities for youth in the Indigenous community, specifically in urban, rural, on-reserve, isolated and northern communities.

The ICSDG is jointly funded through Sport Canada’s Aboriginal Participation Bilateral through the Province of Saskatchewan, and the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation.The grant is designed to support the development and implementation of community sport programs. For eligibility requirements, refer to the program guidelines listed on page 2 of the Indigenous Community Sport Development Grant Guidelines.
